About The Role
Play a crucial role in the functional and disability assessments process, a service that touches the lives of millions of people in the UK.
As a Physiotherapist Functional Assessor, you will work autonomously to assess cases of people applying for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit or a Work Capability Assessment (WCA) as part of the DWP’s Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS). This involves holding consultations and writing fair and accurate reports.
You will only work on assessments for PIP or WCA, not both. During your application process, we will advise you on which service you will work on and discuss your training.
No prior experience as a Functional Assessor is required. We support your career change with our accredited training programme and dedicated support.
