Pertempsare currently seeking two experienced Physiotherapists to jointheReablement service on a locum basis—one based in Salisbury and one in Chippenham.
Role Overview As a Reablement Physiotherapist, you'll manage a varied and rewarding caseload, including:
- Neurological conditions (e.g. stroke, Parkinson’s)
- Musculoskeletal issues (e.g. arthritis, fractures)
- Post-hospital discharge rehabilitation
Conduct functional assessments in client homes
Develop and implement tailored intervention plans
Work within a multidisciplinary team
Clearly communicate complex clinical decisions
Champion safeguarding and quality of care
About the Reablement ServiceOur short-term, therapist-led Reablement service focuses on helping people regain their independence and avoid the need for ongoing care. This vital support includes:
- Comprehensive assessment and personalised treatment planning
- Provision of equipment and home adaptations
- Close collaboration with Reablement Support Workers
- Enabling clients to draw on personal and community resources
Requirements:
- Degree in Physiotherapy (SCQF Level 9 or equivalent)
- HCPC registration
- Proven experience in community or reablement settings
- Strong interpersonal and clinical reasoning skills
- Ability to manage complex and sensitive cases
- Supervisory or mentoring experience desirable
