We are looking for a Proficient Planner to join our P3M team at AWE Nuclear Security Technologies.
Package starts at: £39,500 up to £46,000 dependant on experience
Location: RG7 4PR, located between Reading and Basingstoke.
AWE operates a 9-day working fortnight. We will consider flexible working requests so that your work may fit in with your lifestyle however this role requires at least 3 days per week on site.
We use P6 at AWE and will provide comprehensive training and development to give you the experience and technical expertise required to be an effective Planner using P6 Software.
Introducing The Role:
As a Project Planner, you will need to engage with and present schedule analysis to our Project Manager’s in order to support project planning capability. You will be responsible for maintaining the Integrated Master Schedule, checking schedule integrity, providing network analysis and Earned Value Management.
Your Day Could Look Like This:
- Providing Planning expertise to internal customers within the projects supported.
- Implementing Planning processes, policies and procedures within the projects supported.
- Producing Planning and EV deliverables
- Delivery of long range operational integrated Programme Planning activities.
- Supporting with emergent projects
- Developing and maintaining relationships with and awareness of key project
- Development, integration, and analysis of project plans
- Best practice planning processes and tools
- Confidence modelling processes and techniques
- An analytical approach along with proficiency with interpreting charts and spreadsheets
- Genuine passion for project delivery - you want to challenge and ask questions to ensure successful delivery
- 9-day working fortnight – meaning you get every other Friday off work.
