Platform and Integration Lead
New Yesterday
Ready to shape the backbone of digital platforms that reach millions of people worldwide?
At MindGym, we use behavioural science to help people think, feel and perform better at work. To do that at scale, we need platforms and integrations that are robust, secure, and simple to use. That’s where you come in.
Why this role matters
As Platform & Integration Lead, you’ll be the technical glue across Product, Data, and outsourced Engineering - providing architectural direction, integration oversight, and vendor quality assurance.
Your work will keep our diagnostics platform and core services stable, scalable, and secure. You’ll also play a key role in embedding InfoSec into everything we build, and support R&D audits with clear, technical evidence.
This is a hands-on role with influence - perfect if you love turning complex systems into elegant, sustainable solutions.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll:
Provide end-to-end architectural direction for platform services (auth, licensing, APIs, user flows)
Design and oversee integrations with client platforms and third-party tools
Coordinate InfoSec across platform and integration design, embedding security and compliance into every solution
Oversee outsourced engineering work - setting standards and ensuring high-quality delivery
Partner with Product, Data, and UX to align technical solutions with business goals
Simplify legacy systems to support long-term sustainability
Maintain system documentation and share knowledge across the team
Support HMRC R&D claims and audits by providing clear technical evidence
What makes you a great fit
You’re someone who balances rigour with pragmatism, and who can translate complex technical concepts into clear direction for non-technical colleagues.
Strong track record in platform engineering, systems integration, or solution architecture
Proven ability to design scalable, reliable, and secure systems
Experience overseeing outsourced or third-party engineering work
Strong communicator, able to explain trade-offs and decisions clearly
Solid grounding in InfoSec principles (identity, access, encryption, compliance)
Familiarity with APIs, authentication, and microservices
8+ years’ experience in architecture, integration, or software engineering
Have experience in SaaS or diagnostics platforms
Bring exposure to behavioural science or data-led product contexts
Hold cloud or security certifications (AWS, GCP, CISSP etc.)
Why you’ll love working here
Freedom to work remotely from anywhere in the UK, with flexibility to collaborate across teams
A senior IC role where your decisions shape core platforms used by global clients
The chance to combine engineering craft with purpose-driven products
A culture that values curiosity, rigour, and collaboration
