Platform Backend Software Developer with strong Azure and virtual machines

Location: Must be physically located within the European Union (EU) to comply with GDPR. Preference given to candidates in Turku region, Finland or Berlin, Germany.

Duration: 6 months full-time (with potential to permanent). Start Date: As soon as possible.

Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Backend Software Developer to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a meaningful project focused on remote wellbeing monitoring for older adults. You’ll work closely with our technical team to develop and maintain our platform infrastructure, with the potential to take a lead role in shaping its future.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services for Inlisol’s platform.
• Manage and optimize infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, including Virtual Machines.
• Work with Cassandra and PostgreSQL databases for scalable data storage and retrieval.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Participate in architectural decisions and infrastructure planning.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling processes.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Azure cloud services and Virtual Machine management.
• Hands-on experience with Cassandra and PostgreSQL databases.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical decisions.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Must be physically located within the European Union to comply with GDPR regulations.
