The Policy & Research Manager will lead policy and research projects, collaborate with internal teams and external partners, and develop insights, policy papers, and consultation responses to enhance service delivery and support business growth.
- Lead policy function: Define priority activities aligned with business goals, manage budgets, and set KPIs in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Policy formulation: Plan and execute research projects on relevant topics such as employment support, welfare, assessments, workplace health, justice, and local government.
- Consultation responses: Coordinate responses to policy consultations, working with communications teams to shape future policies and position Maximus as a thought leader.
- Partnership working: Build relationships with researchers, academics, partners, and colleagues to strengthen policy-making capacity, develop projects, and raise Maximus' profile.
- Thought leadership: Publish insights through corporate channels and seek additional publishing opportunities to enhance visibility.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in qualitative and quantitative policy and research programs.
- Experience working with policy experts, government officials, or academics.
- Strong understanding of policy development and government operations.
- Degree or equivalent qualification.
