We are looking for a commercially minded and strategically focused Portfolio Manager to help drive the growth of our renewable asset business across Continental Europe. This role is key to securing long-term offtake agreements, optimising asset portfolios, and developing innovative trading solutions. You will bring a solid understanding of Continental Europe power markets, strong analytical skills, and a collaborative approach to shaping the future of energy trading.
About the Role
As Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for securing profitable trading agreements with third-party assets across the EU. You will lead pricing strategies, manage asset portfolios, and help establish efficient trade processes that support the integration of renewable assets into our trading operations by:
- Optimising agreements for renewable and flexible assets
- Pricing trading contracts in collaboration with Origination
- Managing portfolio risks across asset classes and markets
- Developing and implementing new contract structures and products
- Identifying and entering new markets for asset-backed trading
- Supporting integration of asset contracts into trading operations and systems
About You
You are a strong communicator with a solid understanding of the asset value chain and a keen interest in the evolving dynamics of EU power markets. You bring a structured, analytical mindset and enjoy working across teams to deliver commercially sound solutions.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following experience and capabilities:
- Solid understanding of asset-backed trading and related processes
- Strong data handling and interpretation capabilities
- Master’s degree in economics, finance, physics, engineering, or a related field
- Experience in power trading, asset management, or a similar domain
- Familiarity with pricing renewable portfolios
- Programming experience in VBA, Python, R, or similar languages is a plus
