The Power BI Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining insightful dashboards and reports that visualize contract performance and business metrics. This role plays a key part in enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions through accurate, timely, and actionable data insights. The specialist will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure reporting solutions are aligned with business goals and user needs.

Responsibilities
- Build, maintain and publish user-friendly dashboards that: provide clear insights into departmental performance, highlight opportunities for improvement, are accessible to both technical and non-technical users
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure reports are relevant and actionable
- Regularly review dashboards with stakeholders to ensure continued value and usability
- Document reporting processes and ensure data collection methods are robust and efficient
- Manage timelines and deliverables across multiple teams and industries
- Maintain Power BI governance and ensure best practices are followed
- Reverse engineer existing reports and technical solutions as needed
- Provide end-user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer
- Continuously develop technical skills and stay current with BI trends and tools
Skills you need to succeed
- Intermediate DAX skills - where you have worked with many to many data relationships across bridging tables
- 4 years min experience working with DAX and SQL and Power Query
- Strong SQL skills, including writing and modifying stored procedures
- Ability to reverse engineer and improve existing BI solutions
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in dynamic environments
- Ability to explain complex data insights in simple terms
- Familiarity with requirements elicitation techniques
