What You’ll Be Doing
- Instruct and mentor less experienced members of the team within your knowledge and competency
- Work with a group of Electrical Engineers in the Integrated Systems Test Section
- Research, review and provide feedback on documentation to the required standard
- Keep full and accurate records of work activities as required by policy, procedure and legislation
- Deputise for the relevant Commissioning Project Leader as needed, including supervision of personnel
- Commit to self-development and attendance of mandatory training
- Represent the Company on Contractors Sea Trials and other outworking requirements
Essential
- Knowledge of commissioning or maintenance within a similar industrial environment
- Degree/HNC/HND in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience
- Detailed knowledge of safety controls and procedures in a high-risk environment
Desirable
- Knowledge and experience of PLC systems and electrical testing

The Test & Commissioning Team
As a Principal Commissioning Engineer – Electrical, you will be responsible for commissioning all Integrated Systems Test Section systems across Dreadnought submarines and off-boat rigs. You will carry out daily commissioning activities and report to the commissioning project leader. This role offers exposure to multiple platforms and technologies with opportunities for ongoing training and career development.
