Overview

Principal Data Scientist required for a well-known organisation progressing through exciting transformation and investment in its systems and data. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a huge difference in a rapidly growing business.

Base pay range

Up to 110k per annum plus excellent benefits and flexibility.

Location/Working pattern: 2 days a week in the Central London office expected, the rest from home.

Responsibilities

• Lead/mentor a data science team while remaining hands-on, particularly with model validation and setting up risk frameworks.
• Apply data science techniques to financial services problems, including credit scoring, fraud detection, and predictive modelling for financial institutions.

Qualifications

• Background working in the financial services industry is preferred, either institutional or regulatory, or experience supporting financial institutions/reviewing from a regulatory perspective.
• Knowledge of IFRS9, fraud detection, and predictive modelling for financial institutions (credit scoring).
