Principal EC&I Engineer — Reading - Hybrid - 3 days a week in office

£55-60 per hour • Outside of IR35

Responsibilities

• Support commissioning phase through documentation reviews and technical input.
• Review supplier documentation for Safety, Security, and Building Management Systems (e.g., alarms, CCTV, access control, ventilation monitoring).

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years' experience working as a EC&I Engineer
• 5+ years working within the Nuclear industry
• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar
• Proficient in AutoCAD, AMTECH, Dialux, Relux
• Experience in the review of supplier documentation for Safety, Security, and Building Management Systems (e.g., alarms, CCTV, access control, ventilation monitoring)
• Experience supporting commissioning phase through documentation reviews and technical input
• This is a Nuclear industry role requiring BPSS or SC clearance to start; UK passport preferred
• The ideal candidate will already hold SC or DV clearance
