Bring your skills to the mix as a Principal Mechanical Engineer. You'll play a vital role in every aspect of mechanical engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.
We specialise in all aspects of mechanical engineering across sectors such as Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development, and Education. We provide industry-leading solutions throughout the project lifecycle, including client-side support and construction phases. If you're passionate about this industry, we'd love to talk to you.
Opportunities are available in our Bristol, Derby, and Birmingham offices.

Your Purpose
- Lead a team in technical design following relevant standards and codes, ensuring high-quality outputs.
- Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
- Manage time and budgets to meet project milestones and schedules.
- Collaborate with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Maintain adherence to quality assurance standards in design.
What you can bring
- Chartered Mechanical Engineer
- Experience leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary projects
- Thorough knowledge of mechanical equipment (pumps, blowers, screens, chemical dosing) and UK design standards
- Strong understanding of legislation such as CDM and ATEX
