Job title: Principal Process Safety EngineerLocation: Barrow-in-Furness - we offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements.Salary: CompetitiveWhat you’ll be doing:Completing DSEAR risk assessments and compliance activitiesMentoring and developing junior engineersReviewing and producing explosion safety strategiesPeer reviewing workRisk AnalysisDeveloping and producing processes and policy documentation for the siteYour skills and experiences:Essential:Experience of working in an explosion safety engineering environment and applying various methods of hazard analysisDSEAR risk assessment production including hazard identification and analysis (preferably from a high hazard industry)A thorough understanding of Hazardous Area Classification (HAC) and Proven track record in implementing business processes to achieve strategic objectivesDesirable:Degree qualified in a STEM disciplineCOMAH - Control of Major Accident Hazards (Safety Case support) experienceSite Asset Protection experience & Fire Safety Engineering experienceBenefits:You’ll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.
