We are seeking a visionary Principal Product Manager to shape and execute our data and AI/ML strategy, driving the platform’s 2026 objectives.## ## **Role Overview**The Principal Product Manager, Data and AI/ML Strategy, will lead the development and execution of the TI Platform’s data strategy and AI/ML initiatives. This role will define how data drives value-added services, usage-based pricing, and cost alignment while advancing analytics and AI/ML capabilities to solve customer and partner challenges. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and GTM functions, you will prioritize investments and ensure the platform delivers differentiated, scalable solutions for customer use cases.## ## **Responsibilities*** **Define Data Strategy**: Develop and refine a comprehensive data strategy that supports usage-based pricing, cost alignment, data correlation, aligning with 2026 objectives.* **Lead AI/ML Initiatives**: Drive the integration of AI/ML capabilities (e.g., predictive analytics, usage pattern optimization) to enhance platform features, focusing on customer and partner pain points.* **Prioritize Investments**: Collaborate with key customers and partners, product leaders, and engineering to prioritize data and AI/ML investments, ensuring alignment with customer needs and platform scalability.* **Drive Usage-Based Models**: Design and validate usage-based pricing and cost frameworks, leveraging data insights to achieve metrics like 25% revenue from usage-based models and 85% pricing fairness satisfaction by Q4 2026.* **Enhance Customer and Partner Enablement**: Develop tools and features (e.g., real-time analytics, AI-driven insights) to empower customers and partners.* **Shape Branding and Positioning**: Partner with marketing to position new data and AI/ML capabilities, achieving 85% positioning clarity and 40% feature-specific brand association by Q3 2026.* **Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Work with engineering, data science, and field teams to deliver scalable solutions, ensuring data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency.* **Measure and Iterate**: Define and track KPIs (e.g., 90% accuracy in usage pattern identification, 20% efficiency improvement) to validate strategy effectiveness and iterate based on feedback.## ## **Qualifications*** **Experience**: + 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or principal role leading data or AI/ML-driven products. + Proven track record in building data platforms, usage-based pricing models, or AI/ML solutions in a SaaS, cloud, or enterprise technology environment. + Experience with Containers, VMs, or SaaS inventory management solutions is a plus.* **Technical Skills**: + Deep understanding of data architectures, analytics, and AI/ML technologies (e.g., machine learning models, data pipelines, cloud infrastructure). + Familiarity with usage-based pricing frameworks and cost optimization in cloud environments.* **Strategic Vision**: Ability to translate customer needs into a cohesive data and AI/ML strategy, aligning with business goals and market trends.* **Collaboration**: Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging customer advisory boards, engineering teams, and marketing to drive consensus and outcomes.* **Analytical Mindset**: Proficiency in defining and measuring KPIs, leveraging data to drive product decisions and validate strategies.* **Communication**: Exceptional ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including executives, customers, and technical teams.* **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.## * Be a key driver in transforming the TI Platform into a world-class, data-driven ecosystem.* Collaborate with innovative teams and high-profile customers to shape industry-leading solutions### **#LI-Remote**### **#LI-DL1****#ProductManagement**Flexera is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
