This is an excellent opportunity for a collaborative, people-focused lawyer who enjoys building strong relationships and guiding others to achieve their potential.The RoleYou will manage a varied and rewarding caseload while helping to shape and expand the Private Client team. Key responsibilities include:Meeting with clients to take instructions and providing clear, empathetic advice.Drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, including those involving complex estates.Administering estates and overseeing estate accounts.Advising on Court of Protection matters with sensitivity and care.Supporting and developing a team that currently includes a Senior Solicitor in London, a Probate Executive in Brighton, and junior colleagues.Helping the department grow through client relationships, reputation, and business development.The CandidateQualified Solicitor with 5+ PQE, ideally with some leadership experience.Skilled in Wills, LPAs, estate administration, and Court of Protection work.Comfortable supporting, mentoring, and guiding colleagues.Collaborative and approachable, with excellent communication skills.Commercially aware while keeping client care and trust at the centre of your practice.A following is not required but would be welcomed.Competitive salary at market rate (dependent on experience).Hybrid working arrangements considered.Flexibility to be primarily based in either London or Brighton.Opportunity to bring an assistant, team, or paralegal if desired.Leadership role with the chance to develop a supportive, successful department.This is a fantastic opportunity for a Private Client lawyer who values collaboration, client care, and team growth.
