Private Client Solicitor / Licensed Conveyancer – Specialist Drafter. Location: Can be fully Remote or Hybrid (your preference). Job Type: Full-time or Part-time.

We are seeking an experienced Specialist Document Drafter to support our Private Client and Conveyancing teams across our client's Legal Group companies. This is a newly created role offering excellent scope for growth and progression within a highly reputable firm.

About the Role

You will play a key role in assisting fee earners by drafting a wide range of legal documents relating to lifetime trusts and estates. This includes Deeds of Variation, Deeds of Appointment, Retirement and Appointment of New Trustees, Indemnities and Disclaimers, using a full suite of industry-recognised and maintained precedents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drafting trusts and associated legal documentation to a high professional standard
  • Supporting the Private Client and Conveyancing teams with technical drafting expertise
  • Managing a busy and varied workload across multiple complex matters
  • Ensuring all work is accurate, compliant and delivered efficiently
  • (If applicable) Handling a small caseload of conveyancing matters

About You

  • At least 5 years’ PQE in Private Client or Property work
  • STEP qualification or other relevant industry credentials preferred
  • Strong experience in drafting trusts is essential
  • Knowledge of wills, probate, conveyancing and estate administration is advantageous
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, organised approach
  • Conveyancing experience is desirable but not essential
