Are you ready to lead the engineering vision of a high-impact climate tech start-up? We are an early-stage company developing transformative industrial decarbonisation technologies aimed at reshaping heavy industry’s emissions profile. We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Process/Engineering Director to join our leadership team and drive the technical development of our CCUS (Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage) and gas separation/conversion systems from pilot to scale.

As Process/Engineering Director, you will be responsible for overseeing process design, scale-up, and integration of our proprietary technology into industrial settings. You will work closely with the CEO, CTO, and commercial teams to translate innovation into scalable, commercially viable solutions that deliver meaningful emissions reductions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering strategy and execution across R&D, process design, and deployment.
  • Oversee development and scale-up of novel CCUS and gas processing technologies.
  • Build and manage a high-performing engineering team.
  • Engage with industrial partners, research institutions, and technology vendors.
  • Ensure all engineering work meets safety, environmental and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in CCUS and/or gas separation/conversion technology development.
  • Proven track record of innovation, problem-solving, and scaling clean technologies.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and project management skills.
  • Ability to present complex information in a clear and engaging manner.
