Title: Procurement Manager (Construction)

Sector: Transport (Public Sector)

Location: Derby / Hybrid (2-3 days in the office)

Salary & Package: £50,000 - £52,000 + bonus + free train travel and additional benefits

Sea Global is proud to partner with a well-recognized organization at the forefront of the Public Sector Transport industry. They are recruiting for a Procurement Manager (Construction) to join their dynamic team.

Ideal candidates will have experience in the Construction category and be familiar with NEC4 and JCT contracts.

Applicants from various industries and backgrounds are encouraged to apply, provided they have experience with Public Contract Regulations 2015 or Procurement Act 2023.

Role & Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Senior Category Manager and procurement team
• Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including tenders, sourcing, and supplier management
• Develop and execute strategic category plans
• Draft and negotiate contractual agreements ensuring compliance and value for money
• Advise internal stakeholders on procurement best practices to maximize value

Experience & Requirements

• Experience with NEC4 and JCT contracts is essential
• Background in regulated environments and knowledge of Public Contract Regulations 2015 or Procurement Act 2023
• Proven experience in procurement, category management, or tendering
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting with strong supplier management skills
