About the Role

As a Product and Data Analyst within the Guardian Jobs team, you will play a pivotal role in tracking and reporting on daily metrics, managing dashboards for internal teams and stakeholders and delivering business intelligence to support profitable growth. You will also have the opportunity to assist the Guardian Jobs Product Manager with Guardian Jobs product trajectory and deployment of projects and commercial products. This is a great opportunity for a data analyst who would like to develop product management skills.

  • Support the Guardian Jobs marketing team on tracking and reporting on campaigns and always-on activity.
  • Presenting findings and actionable insights to the Guardian Jobs Director and wider leadership team.
  • Ensuring the right data is tracked to inform testing, analytics, and decision-making.
  • Contributing to the product roadmap through opportunity sizing and data-driven planning.
  • Supporting A/B tests, roadmap deployments, and troubleshooting issues alongside the Product Manager.

About You

We’re looking for a highly analytical, organised, and proactive individual who thrives in a data-led, commercially-focused environment.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience in product or project management, preferably within recruitment advertising or digital products.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver business insights from sales, finance, marketing, and product data.
  • Financial reporting experience, with strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in dashboard tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI), Google Analytics and Excel.
  • An understanding of CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to stakeholders.
  • A proactive mindset, with creative problem-solving ability and a curiosity to challenge the status quo.
  • Ability to work flexibly and to tight deadlines.

We value and respect all differences (seen and unseen) in all people. We aspire to have inclusive working experiences and an environment that reflects the audience we serve, where our people have equal access to career development opportunities, their voices are heard and can contribute to our future.
