Job Description:

This role is for an Account Manager / Project Coordinator / Product Launch / Cosmetic / Beauty / Personal Care.

Disrupt agency is working with a cosmetic/beauty manufacturer to find a candidate with experience in the beauty/cosmetics/personal care industry for an initial 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, starting ideally around July 2024.

The Account Manager will manage key client relationships and coordinate the launch of new cosmetic/beauty/personal care products to market.

This is primarily a customer service, relationship management, and project management role, requiring credibility and trust-building with clients and internal stakeholders across sourcing, packaging, product development, technical, marketing, and more.

The role is critical for the initial 12 months and is expected to transition into a permanent position long-term.

It requires being in the office 4 days a week with 1 day remote, and travel to client sites around the UK (usually London) is expected, with expenses paid.

Person profile:

• Recent experience in the beauty/cosmetic/personal care manufacturing sector, ideally managing product launches.
• Autonomous, organized, relationship-focused, and capable of managing projects within strict timelines and budgets.
• Full management of P&L for the area.
• A persuasive, service-based sales approach—pushy sales tactics are not suitable.
• Credible, thoughtful, consultative, and quality-focused, with clients and colleagues' needs always prioritized.
• A natural project manager, highly organized, proactive, and able to manage risks to deliver projects on time and within budget.
