The Role

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for setting the product roadmap and leading the implementation of the product vision, breaking down strategic aims into development tasks. You’ll work closely with clients day-to-day and present to senior stakeholders internally and externally. You should be technically oriented with the ability to explain complex concepts to a range of business stakeholders.

Products focus on data, AI and analytics capabilities across industries including financial services, manufacturing, retail and public sector. The right candidate will have a passion for data and analytics, and experience handling and interpreting data, working with Developers, Engineers and Data Analysts.

Requirements

  • Strong experience owning the development and roadmap for a digital product, leading key meetings including agile ceremonies, client workshops and product demos
  • Experience in cross-functional software teams with analytics, FE development, data engineering, analytics engineering, UX design and QA testing
  • Software delivery management experience; running concurrent workstreams and familiarity with dual track agile
  • Ability to form relationships quickly with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working with clients to translate business requirements into a product vision, roadmap and development activities; ideally with a technical lead or engineering manager
  • Commercial acumen to identify market opportunities, align development with business goals, and drive revenue growth
  • Understanding of software development concepts, data analytics, product management frameworks, and translating complex data concepts into actionable features
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; able to convey technical topics to diverse audiences and produce high-quality artefacts and presentations
  • Proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders and align interests to drive collaborative success
  • Experience leading projects and delivery teams using agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)

The following skills are not required but would be beneficial

  • Experience managing a prioritised backlog, defining product requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Experience building digital products on AWS/Azure with data pipelines, warehouses and ETL processes
  • Experience leading ad-hoc analyses to understand client requirements
  • Technical creativity and a constant drive to learn
  • Basic SQL proficiency and experience with databases
  • Product or Project Management qualification
