We are seeking a Product Manager to support our in-house Engineering team.

The Role
As a Product Manager at StrideUp, you’ll take ownership of core product initiatives that support our operations and customer journey. You’ll work closely with a talented Engineering team and report directly to the Head of Product and Engineering. Your focus will be to define, prioritise and deliver product enhancements that results in intuitive digital portals for customers and improves our internal operations to help us provide an outstanding overall customer experience.

What You'll Do
- Product Ownership: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of key product features across our platform.
- Roadmap Execution: Work with the Head of Product & Engineering to shape and maintain a clear, outcome-driven roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Discovery & Definition: Lead discovery, gather requirements from stakeholders (including underwriting, operations, and compliance), and translate these into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Delivery Support: Collaborate closely with engineers to clarify scope, unblock delivery, and ensure timely releases with high quality.
- User-Centric Thinking: Advocate for customer and internal user needs, ensuring the product is intuitive, efficient, and regulatory compliant.
- Data & Iteration: Use data and user feedback to inform decisions, monitor impact, and iterate on solutions.
Top Skills/Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in a small or mid-sized organisation in the finance / mortgage industry
- Comfortable operating in a hands-on, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Strong collaboration skills, especially working with engineers, operations teams, and compliance stakeholders.
- Ability to write clear specifications and manage a backlog in tools like Jira.
- Analytical mindset; confident using data to inform decisions.
- Understanding of mortgages and the lending industry
