The Role
We are looking for a Product Owner with a strong technical background who thrives at the intersection of engineering and product delivery. You’ll be the voice of the product within our engineering teams—translating strategy into execution, ensuring the backlog is clear, well-prioritized, and always aligned with customer and business needs. This role is perfect for someone excited by building new products, energized by working closely with engineers, and eager to own the details that make product delivery successful.
What you will be doing
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is visible, transparent, and understood by all team members.
- Work closely with engineering during product discovery, sprint planning, and development to turn high-level strategy into actionable stories.
- Write and refine JIRA user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements in close collaboration with engineers.
- Facilitate sprint ceremonies, ensuring smooth collaboration and alignment between product and engineering.
- Collect and prioritize customer, user, and stakeholder needs to guide backlog decisions.
- Act as the bridge between senior Product Managers and engineering teams, ensuring that strategic goals are delivered through technical execution.
- Monitor sprint progress, remove blockers, and make trade-off decisions to keep delivery on track.
- Collaborate with UI/UX and QA to ensure a high-quality, user-centered product experience.
- Support customer-facing teams with product knowledge when needed.
Essential Skills
- Strong technical foundation — ideally with experience in software engineering, solution engineering, architecture, or consulting.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable requirements.
- Experience with Agile teams, backlog management, sprint planning, and user story creation.
- Understanding of REST APIs and related technologies; exposure to modern platforms and concepts like Kubernetes, GraphQL, event-driven architecture, security, and AI.
- Strong communication skills to work with engineers, designers, and business stakeholders.
- Proactive, collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.
Benefits
- Excellent medical coverage
- Pension and 401k options for all locations
- Stock option plan for employees
- 25 days holiday/vacation in addition to in-country holidays
- 3 mental health days per year
- Birthday off to celebrate your day
- Professional development allowance for growth
- Quarterly outings and an annual off-site
- Hybrid culture with office options in our hubs
- Work with one of the fastest-growing companies in the API technology sector
- A meaningful, progressive, global company culture
