Are you a strategic and hands-on Product Lead with a passion for virtual worlds, monetisation, and social-first gameplay?


Our client is seeking an experienced Product Lead to guide the development and delivery of immersive, monetised virtual world games. This is a unique opportunity to shape the full product lifecycle, from concept to launch and potentially extend into live operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in F2P game mechanics, progression systems, and in-game economies. You’ll be responsible for setting the vision, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering experiences that drive player engagement, retention, and monetisation.


What you’ll be doing

  • Defining and executing the product vision and roadmap for virtual world games
  • Leading cross-disciplinary teams across design, art, and engineering
  • Developing monetisation strategies, including F2P systems, virtual goods, and progression mechanics
  • Overseeing project timelines, budget management, and delivery milestones
  • Coordinating user testing, analytics, and iterative development to optimise player experience
  • Managing the launch process and supporting the transition to live operations


What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience shipping virtual worlds or social-first games with F2P models
  • Deep understanding of in-game economies, player engagement mechanics, and retention loops
  • Proficiency in agile methodologies and comfort with fast-paced, iterative development
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and collaborate across disciplines
  • A data-informed mindset paired with creative problem-solving skills


Nice to have

  • Experience in live operations or community-led game development
  • Background in user-generated content systems or in-game creation tools
