Programme Manager - Systems Implementation
We are looking for a Programme Manager to lead systems implementation at a fast-growing and successful organization.
Purpose of the job
Responsible for programme management, planning, and delivering a portfolio of projects that improve services for customers and enhance working methods for colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of the Programme, including new technologies and changes to working practices, within time and budget constraints.
- Define and manage the project portfolio, ensuring delivery within scope, quality, timetable, and budgets.
- Implement new technology solutions that deliver business value, address challenges, and ensure data and application security.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery aligned with organizational priorities.
- Procure technology solutions and manage suppliers to ensure successful implementation.
- Manage third-party suppliers' performance and dependencies for value and standards.
- Ensure successful adoption of new solutions through end-to-end delivery, from requirements to embedding with users.
- Manage scope, resources, quality, costs, risks, issues, dependencies, and releases with appropriate controls.
- Define and manage project budgets and benefits, producing detailed documentation and tracking project deliverables.
Person Specification
Experience
- Proven track record in leading projects and portfolios successfully.
- Experience with new systems and ways of working.
- Knowledge of portfolio and project management methodologies.
- Expertise with project management tools.
- Experience in technical requirements, designing solutions, and business analysis.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication skills across various media and audiences.
- Ability to challenge constructively and be a role model.
Qualifications and Skills
- Project Management qualification or relevant experience.
Desirable
- Prince2/Agile Practitioner certification.
- Project Portfolio Management accreditation.
Salary & Benefits
Basic salary £60,000 + excellent benefits.
Location & Role Details
Hybrid role based in Sevenoaks (Kent), 1-2 days/week onsite, rest from home.
