Fixed Term until 31st March 2026

Hybrid with an expectation to work across all SLP boroughs

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised project coordinator for employment and skills to join our dynamic team delivering the Trailblazer programme for the economically inactive across South London. This innovative project aims to reduce economic inactivity by developing integrated, person-centred employment and skills pathways, working in close collaboration with local authorities, health services, training providers, and voluntary sector partners.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-profile initiative that is driving system change and delivering real impact for those furthest from the labour market. Do you have experience in project management and employment and skills projects?

As the South London Partnership (SLP) Employment and Skills Project Officer, you will provide day-to-day project coordination support, ensuring delivery milestones are met. You will maintain accurate project plans, trackers, and risk registers. You will support performance reporting, claim submissions, and compliance monitoring. You will liaise with delivery partners, Borough leads, and health teams to gather updates and ensure smooth communication.

Your main project area will be supporting the effective delivery and integration of People, Skills, and Employment with health programmes across the six boroughs of Croydon, Kingston, Merton, Richmond, Wandsworth, and Sutton. You will also support the Head of Economy, Skills, and Employment with project management reporting for all SLP Employment and Skills projects. For further information about SLP, please visit Home - South London Partnership.

The People and Skills programme at SLP delivers a range of employment and skills projects to help residents across South London into meaningful work. You will assist the Programme Lead in coordinating, delivering, and managing the performance of all SLP projects.

This is an exciting time to join SLP as we expand our services to link with health partners to improve access to employment services. This is a fixed-term contract until March 31, 2026. The role is hybrid, primarily remote, with requirements to work from various sites across boroughs to support events and meetings.

You will provide day-to-day project coordination support, maintain accurate project plans, trackers, and risk registers. You will support performance reporting, claims, and compliance monitoring. You will liaise with partners and health teams to gather updates and ensure effective communication.
