The Vacancy
We are looking for an experienced, efficient, and enthusiastic Project Manager to join our expanding Project Management team. Due to exponential growth, we need a strong PM to facilitate end-to-end project management on several large-scale industrial projects. Project management is Hollis’ largest service, generating around a quarter of overall turnover. Last year, the team completed a record 2,000 instructions, working on projects ranging from under £50,000 to over £500m across various sectors. You’ll work with an expert team of PM professionals led by a leadership team with over 50 years’ combined experience.
As part of our expansion, we have created this new role within our London office. We seek someone who can start with minimal supervision.
Job Overview
Manage large-scale industrial/retail projects from start to finish, including reports, tenders/bids, and liaising with contractors.
Take full client briefs and deliver according to their needs.
Represent Hollis and lead junior Project Managers to develop a new project management team across sectors.
Grow and leverage a network of contacts for business development.
Collaborate closely with Senior Associates and Directors on projects.
Win new business and develop the Project Management services professionally and socially.
Manage design and construction projects through various stages.
Support the growth of the Hollis team on professional and social levels.
Qualifications/Experience
MAPM, PRINCE2, or MRICS PM qualification; postgraduate study preferred.
Proven experience managing multiple projects over £10m.
Experience with Cat A & Cat B projects.
Ability to manage projects independently from start to finish.
Experience beyond RIBA Stage 5 project delivery.
Up-to-date knowledge of legislation and planning procedures.
Strong communication skills and stakeholder relationship management.
Process-driven, efficient, eager to improve quality and processes.
