Project Manager – Private Markets Tech Implementation
Location: Hybrid (London)
Compensation: £115,000 base + Bonus + Benefits
On behalf of an innovative, fast-growing Private Markets technology firm, we are seeking an exceptional Project Manager with expertise in Private Markets Technology to join their global team.
Our client is a market-leading provider of AI-powered data extraction, portfolio monitoring, and valuation solutions for the private capital industry.
With recent backing from top-tier global investors (including leading investment banks and asset managers), this is a unique opportunity to join a high-growth business at the forefront of Private Markets digital transformation.
The Opportunity
This is a client-facing leadership role, ideal for a consultant with hands-on experience advising top-tier private capital firms on technology and data strategy.
The Senior Consultant will lead complex client engagements, driving end-to-end implementation of the platform while advising clients on optimising their technology stack and data architecture. You will work directly with CIOs, Heads of Technology, CFOs, and Heads of Portfolio Monitoring across major private markets investors globally.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will likely have 4+ years’ experience from a Private Markets technology consulting division within a Big 4 consultancy or a boutique firm focused on Private Markets or Alternatives tech. eg Investran, Lemonedge, AllVue, eFront
You should combine a strong understanding of the private capital ecosystem with a passion for leveraging emerging technologies to solve complex business challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full life-cycle client implementations, acting as both Project Manager and Subject Matter Expert
- Drive client success through development of best practices, training, and proactive engagement
- Advise clients on portfolio monitoring, valuation processes, data architecture, and tech stack optimisation
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape future platform development
- Deliver high-quality client-facing materials, presentations, and training sessions
- Continuously enhance client onboarding processes and delivery methodology
Required Experience
- 4+ years of consulting experience within Private Markets / Alternatives (Big 4 or boutique firm)
- Deep understanding of Private Equity, Venture Capital, Private Credit, and Real Assets markets
- Proven ability to manage complex client engagements and technology implementations
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
- Familiarity with portfolio management and valuation methodologies
- Advantageous: experience with Investran, Lemonedge, AllVue, eFront
