What We Are Looking For
RBSL is seeking a Project Manager - Risk to join our team in Telford.
The successful candidate will manage risk processes on multiple multi-million pound projects and at the business level.
You should have specialist knowledge in risk management, with the ability to adapt and guide others in its application. Broader knowledge of Project Management & Controls is also required.
Position Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project and business risk management plans.
- Support project managers in embedding risk management into project delivery through reviews, monitoring, and audits.
- Ensure risk governance and assurance in line with RBSL policies.
- Prepare Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA) reports for programs and projects.
- Provide analysis and options on SRA to stakeholders.
- Lead risk management and SRA activities for business development.
- Support internal and external risk reporting.
- Share best practices in risk management techniques.
- Collaborate with Finance for risk reporting.
- Manage risk stakeholders and the risk register.
- Serve as SME for ARM toolset, including configuration and access.
- Deliver risk management training across the organization.
- Contribute to policies and procedures for risk management and improve them.
- Act as SME for risk and opportunity management within RBSL.
- Support coaching and development of PM apprentice staff in risk techniques.
Qualifications
- Experience in risk and opportunity management.
- Project management qualification (e.g., APM, PRINCE) preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and ARM.
- Experience with risk management software like ARM, Predict!
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail for accurate reporting.
- Innovative in developing new techniques.
- Confidence to challenge peers.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Knowledge of PM&C governance and assurance processes.
