Are you an experienced Project Manager ready to lead high-value, design-driven projects across the UK and Europe? We’re looking for a strong communicator and leader to deliver landmark retail and hospitality spaces for global brands — while mentoring junior talent and shaping the future of our growing business. We are seeking a project manager with a proven track record of managing projects of value >£5,000,000.

The Role
As Project Manager, you’ll:
- Define project strategies, manage risk, and act as the key client contact.
- Deliver foundational project management processes built on industry best practice
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate design and construction.
- Provide leadership and mentor junior staff.
- Contribute to business growth by building strong client relationships.
- Independently deliver projects end-to-end, ensuring excellence in quality, cost, and time.
Core Responsibilities
Pre-Contract:
- Define scope, objectives, and success criteria with clients.
- Prepare feasibility studies, programmes, and delivery strategies.
- Advise on procurement, contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC), and risk.
Tender & Contract Formation:
- Manage tender documentation and evaluation.
- Select and appoint consultants/contractors.
- Negotiate and finalise contracts.
Project Delivery & Construction:
- Act as the client’s representative across the lifecycle.
- Monitor programme, cost, and quality on site.
- Lead project and site meetings; provide accurate reports.
- Oversee health & safety, compliance, and sustainability.
- Manage supply chains, particularly millwork and specialist finishes.
- Support cost control in collaboration with cost managers.
- Manage full handover and closeout processes to deliver successful spaces for clients.
Leadership & Business Contribution:
- Mentor junior staff and grow your own team under your supervision.
- Foster collaboration across teams.
- Manage your own clients and workbooks, with rewards for high performance and client satisfaction
- Contribute to business development opportunities.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven track record delivering projects valued at £5m+.
- Excellent communicator with strong client management skills.
- Strong leadership, mentoring ability, and independent thinking.
- Experience in retail, luxury retail, and/or hospitality.
- Comfortable managing contractors/subcontractors on site.
- Confident with drawings, architecture, interiors, and millwork.
- Understanding of cost management processes (though not a CM role, understanding of fundamentals is preferred)
- Skilled at balancing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with international clients and diverse cultures preferred.
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Fluent English; working proficiency in Italian or French desirable but not essential.
- Adaptable, solutions-driven, and strong problem-solver.

- Salary: Available on request. Market tested competitive with fully transparent salary banding.
