Overview

At CGI, our Project Managers lead the delivery of complex, high-value projects that transform our clients\' businesses. In this role, you will take ownership of projects within our Transition & Transformation team, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. You\'ll manage multi-disciplinary teams, third-party suppliers, and client relationships, while overseeing projects that transition into Managed Services. This is a chance to deliver tangible results, shape future services, and play a pivotal role in CGI\'s commitment to operational excellence.

This role will require travel between Wales and the Southeast and is a hybrid position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver & Transition: Lead technical projects through to successful Managed Services handover.
  • Plan & Report: Manage schedules, budgets, and reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead & Engage: Direct project teams, manage third-party suppliers, and build strong client relationships.
  • Control & Assure: Provide accurate financial and status reports, managing risks and issues effectively.
  • Expand & Evolve: Contribute to securing additional business opportunities within accounts.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven project management experience, ideally within IT and Managed Services, with strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience delivering IT or technical projects into Managed Services.
  • Proven ability to manage projects to time, budget, and quality.
  • Strong track record of client and stakeholder management.
  • Experience leading project teams and managing third-party suppliers.
  • Financial and progress reporting expertise.
  • Knowledge of service transition processes and methodologies.
  • Willingness to travel between Wales and the Southeast.
