The ideal candidate will have a robust background in project management, with a focus on delivering technical projects encompassing hardware, software and service provision. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects, ensuring they align with Cammax's high standards and client expectations.**Job Description:****The Company**Cammax are a dynamic and rapidly growing SME in the transport and parking sectors, producing innovative self-service ticket and payment systems, associated software, and services.Cammax designs and manufactures touch screen kiosks at its purpose built factory in Castleford. We have a range of standard kiosks and also produce bespoke designs. We develop the software applications and customise kiosk hardware and peripherals as required. Cammax employs a nationwide team of engineers who carry out site surveys, system installation and comprehensive on-site maintenance.Cammax is excited to be part of the Modaxo family. With more than 40 companies representing over 30 brands, Modaxo comprises over 3,300 people, operating from almost 40 countries around the world.**Key Responsibilities****Project Planning and Execution:*** Develop comprehensive project plans specific to the markets we work in, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation* Coordinate project resources, tasks, and activities to ensure successful project delivery* Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and provide regular financial updates.**Stakeholder Communication:*** Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to gather project requirements and expectations* Provide regular project updates to key stakeholders, addressing any concerns and ensuring alignment with project goals.**Risk Management**:* Identify potential risks specific to the projects we work on and proactively implement strategies to mitigate them* Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may impact project delivery.**Quality Assurance:*** Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services* Conduct thorough project reviews to identify areas for improvement.**Team Leadership**:* Lead cross-functional project teams, motivating team members to achieve project goals.* Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.**Skills, Knowledge & Experience*** Proven experience as a Project Manager in the rail industry, with a track record of successfully delivering projects ranging from £50k to £5m is essential* Knowledge of the software lifecycle and product development is essential* Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities* Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders with varying technical capabilities is essential* Experience in the transport and parking industries is a plus.**Qualifications*** PRINCE2 or equivalent desirable but not essential**Benefits*** Competitive salary* Pension scheme* Discretionary Bonus scheme* 25 days holiday plus bank holidays* Buy and sell holiday scheme* Free parking* Flexible working arrangements* Opportunity to take part in regular social events outside of work* Opportunity to make a significant impact in a rapidly growing business* Access to experienced peers both locally and across the globe as part of the Modaxo family – all with a view to helping you grow your career and perform at your best!As an employer we are committed to cultivating a friendly and exciting working environment, with huge emphasis on employee engagement.
