Project Manager Wanted: Lead the Networking Revolution at Convergence Group

A Day In The Life As Our Project Manager

As a Project Manager at Convergence Group, no two days will be the same. You'll play a key role in driving the success of our customer onboarding journey, overseeing every stage of the project lifecycle with clarity, energy, and purpose.

• Lead Projects End-to-End: Take charge of every aspect of infrastructure project delivery - from kick-off through to close. You'll manage scope, resources, timelines, and budgets with confidence.
• Be the Trusted Go-To: Act as the key link between our customers and internal teams. You'll bring people together, align expectations, and deliver results.
• Document Like a Pro: Stay on top of project documentation, including Statements of Work (SOWs), RAID logs, and Project Initiation Documents (PIDs), keeping everything organised and accessible.
• Champion the Customer: Put customers at the centre of everything. You'll build strong relationships, communicate regularly, and make sure stakeholders feel supported and informed every step of the way.
• Smooth the Transition: You'll ensure that when the project ends, our Service Desk is fully briefed and ready to provide ongoing support—so the handover is seamless.
• Delivering successful outcomes- hit key milestones, meet internal KPIs, and ensure high-quality project handovers.
  
  

• 5+ years of experience delivering IT or Telecoms infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of networking technologies including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and Security.
• PRINCE2 Practitioner (MSP or other programme management qualifications a plus)
• Skilled in tools such as MS Project, Monday.com, Trello, or Smartsheet
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
• Meticulously organised with exceptional planning and time management abilities
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to obtain BPSS and other security clearances.
  
  

• A fantastic base salary of £65 - £85,000.
• 33 days holiday (including bank holidays) and it gets better!

• Flexibility with your core hours and hybrid working policy with 3 days a week in the office (Monday, Wednesday & Thursday). You can be based at either our Manchester or Solihull office, but there may be times you'll need to work from both.
