About the job.
National Highways has an excellent opportunity for multiple Property Acquisition Case Managers to join our Property & Compensation division within Major Projects.
This role will support the Property Acquisition Team in acquiring land and rights needed for schemes, ensuring costs are paid promptly and in accordance with legislation, policy, and the compensation code.
Please note this is a hybrid position based at our Bedford office.
- Liaising with legal and valuation suppliers to acquire land and rights.
- Maintaining property records, financial data, and administrative records accurately using company systems.
- Managing work to meet objectives, ensuring compliance with laws, policies, and procedures.
- Building effective relationships with colleagues and customers to ensure good customer service to claimants and landowners.
- Analyzing relevant information to support decision-making.
About you.
- Taking ownership of workload, recognizing when matters need escalation, and engaging with stakeholders internally and externally.
- Strong grammatical skills for handling legal documentation and drafting letters.
- Effective record keeping and attention to detail, especially regarding case finances.
- Ability to follow processes and understand governance importance.
- Proficiency in IT to produce and maintain complex documents and spreadsheets.
