Were hiring for Principal and Staff-level Engineers with deep Python and AWS expertise engineers who think beyond code to shape systems, influence decisions, and mentor others. You'll be instrumental in evolving a platform that digitises complex workflows and surfaces operational insights in real time. What Youll Be Doing Architecting and building production-grade backend services and APIs using Python (Django or Flask). Designing distributed systems on AWS, with performance, resilience, and scalability top of mind. Leading by example through clean code, mentoring, and clear technical direction. Owning CI/CD workflows, IaC, observability, and release automation in a DevOps-native culture. Working across teams to design cohesive, event-driven integrations that power the core platform. Driving architectural decisions and helping shape the engineering roadmap. What Were Looking For 10+ years of professional software development, with a strong focus on Python in production. Deep familiarity with AWS and modern infrastructure tooling (Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes). Experience delivering microservices, REST APIs, and serverless or container-based architectures. Track record of owning systems end-to-end, including monitoring, alerting, and zero-downtime releases. CI/CD fluency Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI or similar. Strong communication and mentorship skills you lead, guide, and elevate those around you. Bonus if youve dabbled in Go, GraphQL, or machine learning integrations.
