Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Specialist with a strong background in software testing, ideally within the Gambling/Casino industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our applications across multiple devices, collaborating closely with developers, designers, and other stakeholders. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing of the application on various devices.
- Write clear and concise issue reports to effectively communicate findings.
- Utilize Jira and other Atlassian tools for test management and issue tracking.
- Communicate effectively with designers and developers at all levels.
- Apply analytical thinking to test edge case scenarios and identify potential issues.
- Prepare new test cases and test scenarios with support from the Lead when necessary.
- Analyse and review new test cases for accuracy and coverage.
- Create and maintain documentation useful for the team.
- Understand and follow team processes and workflows.
- Ensure compliance with licensing requirements.
- Conduct testing in alignment with strict regulatory or legal requirements.
- Apply testing knowledge in practice to enhance software quality.
- Foster a cooperative team environment based on mutual support.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Quickly learn new concepts and adapt to evolving testing needs.
What we are looking for
- 2+ years of experience in software testing.
- Experience in the Gambling/Casino industry.
- Strong knowledge of manual testing techniques and practices.
- Proficiency with Jira and other Atlassian suite tools.
- Ability to write clear, detailed, and actionable defect/issue reports.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels.
- Strong attention to detail with analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to test creatively, including edge case scenarios.
- Good interpersonal skills and a strong team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tools and processes.
Nice to have
- ISTQB Certification.
- Experience testing against strict regulatory or legal requirements.
- Knowledge of licensing requirements in the Gambling/Casino industry.
- Familiarity with test automation principles (even without hands-on experience).
