About The Role
Are you an experienced QA Engineer looking for an opportunity with a progressive, exciting, market-leading company? We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Testing team on a fixed-term contract until the end of June 2026.
As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for quality assurance and enhancement within the development lifecycle through automated and manual testing to ensure software quality. The role is hybrid, combining office-based and remote work.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting various types of testing, including functional and non-functional
- Collaborating with Lead QA Engineer to implement testing strategies
- Maintaining automated test suites supporting CI/CD pipelines
- Utilizing frameworks such as Selenium (Java) and Cypress (JavaScript)
- Reviewing QA PRs
- Driving early testing practices ('shift left') in the development process
- Training and coaching team members on agile testing and quality responsibilities
- Triaging and documenting defects, investigating issues, and testing fixes
- Working with developers to ensure comprehensive unit test coverage

Ideal Candidate:
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, JavaScript
- Experience in various testing types and automation tools (Selenium/Java, Cypress/JavaScript)
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Full SDLC exposure
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and passion for continuous learning
Desirable:
- ISTQB Agile Tester and Foundation certifications
- STEM degree or background
