What you’ll be doing:

1. Leading the development and implementation of comprehensive test strategies and plans.
2. Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts.
3. Triaging issues raised from other teams within the business to understand priorities and ensure all necessary information is present for work to be completed.
4. Mentoring and guiding junior SDETs and QA engineers.
5. Analysing repetitive tests and delivering high-quality, non brittle, automated solutions.
6. Managing, designing, implementing and maintaining integrated and E2E system tests.
7. Performing both manual as well as automated testing.
8. Supporting the development team in designing high value unit tests.
9. Working closely with developers within an Agile sprint team to refine & estimate items of work and other Agile ceremonies.

• Excellent communication and leadership / mentoring abilities.
• Strong proficiency with programming languages including Python.
• Strong knowledge of working within AWS.
• Strong experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Basic understanding of software development principles and practices.
