Part Time 29.6 hours per week

Band 5 - Salary Range £33,247 - £41,424 per annum (pro rata) plus

Distant Island Allowance of £2,482 per annum (pro rata)

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our pharmacy team as a registered pharmacy technician in Primary Care Pharmacy.

We are a fast-evolving team striving to deliver pharmacy services that meet the needs of patients across Shetland in innovative ways.

Pharmacy Technicians play a vital role within the pharmacy team, helping to deliver an enhanced pharmacy service and supporting the pharmacotherapy service at our health centres.

The post holder will be based in our pharmacy hub and various health centres across Shetland. The position is also available for registered technicians wishing to work remotely. Responsibilities include handling medicines-related queries, conducting medicines reconciliation, and other pharmacotherapy tasks.

This contract is fixed-term until 31st March 2026 due to funding. Secondment applicants should discuss with their line manager before applying.
