Job Title: Social Worker – Mental Health Team

Location: Camden

Rate: £32 per hour

An exciting job opportunity has recently become available at the London Borough of Camden Council. They are seeking a new member for their Mental Health Team.

What will your responsibilities be?

• Coordinate complex cases under the CPA, developing co-produced care plans with service users.
• Conduct risk assessments, safeguarding, and holistic assessments of mental health and social care needs.
• Perform Care Act assessments, work with carers and support networks, and collaborate with statutory and voluntary organizations.
• Liaise with inpatient units, ensure accurate record-keeping and report writing.
• Work with adults with psychosis and complex needs, with experience in Care Act assessments and reviews.
• Maintain knowledge of legislation such as Safeguarding, Mental Health Act, Care Act, and Mental Capacity Act.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Registered with Social Work England
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Degree-level qualification in Social Work or equivalent
• Post-qualified experience
