We are seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer in Europe. As a QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality web applications that provide seamless user experiences. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify issues, improve processes, and maintain high testing standards throughout the development lifecycle. This role offers the chance to contribute directly to impactful projects in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment. With your expertise in manual testing, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate, you will help drive continuous improvements and support product reliability at scale.
Responsibilities
- Conduct manual testing of web applications, identifying, documenting, and tracking software issues
- Perform UI and cross-browser testing to ensure consistency and usability across devices
- Execute API testing to validate backend reliability, performance, and functionality
- Create, execute, and maintain detailed test cases, bug reports, and documentation using tools such as JIRA and TestRail
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to uphold rigorous quality standards
- Conduct regression testing before releases and integrate testing within CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery
- Continuously evaluate and enhance testing methodologies, tools, and processes
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing, ideally focused on web applications
- Strong knowledge of UI testing and API testing practices
- Proven ability to write detailed bug reports and manage issue lifecycles effectively
- Experience with JIRA for bug tracking and TestRail (or similar) for test case management
- Solid understanding of the SDLC and experience working in CI/CD environments
- Familiarity with JavaScript automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright) is an advantage
- Strong English communication skills, with at least B2 level proficiency
- A proactive, adaptable mindset with the ability to thrive in fast-paced startup environments
