Our client, a significant player in the nuclear sector, is currently seeking a Quality Engineer for a 12-month contract, with an immediate start available. This role includes the opportunity to work on a Nuclear licensed site and will cover expenses for this.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Implementing and managing quality control procedures and processes in accordance with industry standards and regulations
2. Conducting audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
3. Identifying and resolving quality issues through detailed analysis and corrective actions
4. Collaborating with engineering and project teams to integrate quality requirements into project plans
5. Preparing detailed reports and documentation regarding quality performance and compliance
6. Liaising with stakeholders to ensure all quality objectives are met and maintained
7. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality management systems
8. Supporting and mentoring team members to uphold high-quality standards across the project

Job Requirements:

• Experience in quality engineering within the nuclear sector
• SC Clearance is mandatory for this role
• Strong understanding of quality control processes and industry standards
• Proficiency in conducting audits and inspections
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site and remote work
• Effective communication skills for liaising with stakeholders and team members
