Role Description

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight across all real estate and development projects, ensuring alignment with company vision and investment objectives.
  • Oversee the planning, design, and delivery of luxury hospitality, residential, and mixed‑use developments from inception through completion.
  • Lead internal project and development teams, fostering collaboration and accountability across design, construction, and finance functions.
  • Direct feasibility assessments, appraisals, and business cases for new development opportunities.
  • Manage relationships with architects, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders to ensure timely, cost‑effective, and high‑quality delivery.
  • Establish and monitor project governance frameworks, risk management strategies, and reporting procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project execution, innovation, and sustainability practices.
  • Represent the development function at executive and board level, providing strategic input on portfolio growth and capital investment plans.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience leading high‑value real estate development projects, ideally within the luxury hospitality or mixed‑use sectors.
  • Proven track record in managing full lifecycle developments, from feasibility and acquisition to design and delivery.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with deep understanding of development appraisals and funding structures.
  • Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strategic mindset with hands‑on ability to manage complex design and construction challenges.
  • Chartered or degree‑qualified in property, construction, engineering, or related discipline (MRICS, MAPM, or equivalent preferred).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills at senior executive level.
  • Globally minded, adaptable, and experienced in managing international or high‑profile landmark projects.
  • Must have UK experience.
