RECRUITMENT OPERATIONS MANAGER
Our clients are looking for an Operations Manager to join a leading recruitment firm in London on a 12-month contract. This is a great opportunity for someone with a proven track record in managing high-performing operations teams and excellent knowledge of all administrative functions related to interim hiring, including IR35 compliance.
Role
- Leading the operations team with clarity, professionalism, and a focus on collaboration, well-being, and high performance
- Overseeing end-to-end onboarding and compliance for interim contracts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to legislation (including IR35)
- Managing payroll, invoicing, credit control, and client billing processes in partnership with Finance and external providers
- Maintaining data accuracy across systems such as JobAdder, Timesheet Portal, Xero, and Power BI through audits and reporting
- Acting as the first point of contact for operational, compliance, and finance-related queries, resolving issues efficiently and proactively
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance systems, processes, and overall stakeholder experience
- Fostering team development, accountability, and engagement while promoting the client's core values of Integrity, Passion, Ownership, and Ambition
- Ensuring rigorous standards of quality, compliance, and data protection across all operational and reporting activities
Qualifications
- Demonstrating proven experience in people management within an operations or recruitment environment
- Showing expertise in interim contract onboarding, compliance, and legislative frameworks, including IR35
- Possessing a strong understanding of systems and integrations such as CRM, Timesheet Portal, and automation tools
- Communicating effectively with excellent organisational and leadership skills
- Managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing business needs
- Applying sound judgement and problem-solving skills under pressure
- Committing to continuous improvement and operational excellence
