Regional Business Development Manager EU
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our clinical market expansion Europe wide. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and building relationships with key stakeholders in clinical research and healthcare ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the clinical trials sector in Europe and a proven track record of delivering business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities in the European clinical research sector.
- Build and manage relationships with CROs, clinical trial sponsors, hospitals, research institutions, and other industry players.
- Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for Oximio’s clinical services, including Importer of Record (IoR), logistics, and depot solutions.
- Identify and attend relevant conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote the company’s offerings.
- Lead proposal development, including pricing, service scope, and negotiation with clients.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (Operations, Regulatory, and Legal) to align service capabilities with client needs.
- Track sales pipeline, report progress regularly, and meet defined business development targets.
- Manage contract negotiations, renewals, and amendments in collaboration with the legal and sales teams.
- Analyse client data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization of logistics services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, ora related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experiencein business development or commercial roles withinclinical research, healthcare, or pharma industry.
- Strong understanding of the clinical trials landscape and regulatory environment in Europe
- Proficiency in CRM software and data analysis tools.
- Proven track record of client relationship management and achieving revenue targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and travel as needed across Europe.
- Willingness and ability to travel for client meetings and conferences.
- Proficiency in English; additional local languages are a plus.
