Regional HR Case Manager (East) – Loomis

We are seeking a pro-active and organised HR professional to join our team as an HR Case Manager for our branches in Leeds, Colchester, Dagenham, and Maidstone.

Base pay range: £35,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus car allowance. Hours: 40 hours per week. Location: Hybrid remote – field and home working.

Interview process: week commencing 15th September. This will include a panel interview and a competency-based case study assessment.

Responsibilities

  • Be the trusted advisor for all employee relations matters across your operational region, working closely with managers and colleagues to resolve a wide range of employee relations matters.
  • Manage a diverse caseload including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance management cases, ensuring they are handled fairly, consistently, and in line with employment law and company policy.
  • Support investigations, advise Hearing Chairs, and ensure cases are appropriately escalated.
  • Manage Occupational Health referrals and oversee accurate HR system records.
  • Contribute to reviewing and improving HR policies and processes to remain robust, compliant, and fit for purpose.
  • Build confidence and capability of managers to handle challenging people issues, while ensuring risks are managed and outcomes are balanced.
  • Identify training needs and provide practical, hands-on guidance to resolve disputes and mitigate risks.
  • Participate in wider HR projects, including TUPE, reorganisations, and change initiatives, supporting operational teams and HR colleagues across the business.

About you

  • Confident and knowledgeable HR professional with proven experience in managing employee relations cases (grievance, disciplinary, absence, and performance management).
  • Strong grasp of employment law with the ability to translate legislation into practical advice balancing compliance with commercial outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to quickly build trust, and the confidence to influence and challenge managers when needed.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused, with the ability to manage a varied caseload while maintaining high standards of accuracy and consistency.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a wider HR team, with willingness to travel within the assigned region.
