Overview

Regional Tax Manager role at Paddle. This is a high profile tax role in a market leading high tech company with indirect tax management at the core of its value proposition. The position reports directly to the VP of Tax who is based in London. The team works closely on monthly close processes and controls.

What you’ll do

  • Manage the monthly accounting and compliance processes for global indirect taxes.
  • Support the business with ad hoc indirect tax matters from existing customers, buyers and prospects.
  • Manage at least one direct report and the work of other tax consultants who provide assistance.
  • Oversee direct tax in a limited number of companies/branches operating as simple group service companies.
  • Participate in other group tax projects as opportunities arise.

A separate tax manager leads North American sales taxes, so detailed knowledge of US sales tax is not required. The Rest of World indirect tax portfolio is shared with one other tax manager. These 3 Regional Managers are peers and work closely together on monthly close processes and controls. This is a truly global and varied role requiring collaboration across the business.
