Remediation Manager (England & Wales). Flexible Location. Significant Growth Opportunity

A specialist environmental services company who are expanding operations across England and Wales, delivering a range of technically challenging and environmentally critical remediation solutions. My client is seeking a Remediation Manager to lead the delivery of projects and manage a growing team during this exciting phase of growth.



· The business operates across four core service areas:

· Contaminated land and groundwater remediation

· Invasive plant species eradication, primarily Japanese Knotweed

· Hazardous waste treatment and re-classification

· PFAS remediation techniques and solutions

With steady growth and a strong pipeline of work, this is a unique opportunity for a driven individual to take on a strategic operational role with a clear route to their senior team, supported by an established succession plan.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple remediation projects across England and Wales, ensuring quality, safety, and commercial performance

· Manage and grow an operational delivery team, providing day-to-day leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance

· Develop and oversee project plans, including scheduling, procurement, and resource allocation

· Ensure regulatory and environmental compliance on all active sites

· Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulators to ensure clarity on scope and expectations

· Support commercial teams in pre-project estimating, tendering, and technical input

· Maintain accurate and timely project documentation, including RAMS, method statements, and technical reports

· Monitor project budgets, milestones, and risk, ensuring corrective action where needed

· Champion best practice in health, safety, and environmental management

· Drive innovation and continuous improvement in remediation methodologies, including the use of trademarked or in-house solutions

Person Specification

· Proven track record in managing and delivering remediation or ground engineering projects

· Strong understanding of contaminated land legislation, remediation techniques, and environmental guidance

· Demonstrated experience managing teams, budgets, contractors, and multiple site operations

· Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

· Capable of working independently and managing projects across geographically dispersed locations

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ideally familiar with project or site management software

· Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
