Your Role
As the Product Manager for Customer Journey, you will own and optimize the customer experience across the entire journey—from lead generation to onboarding, retention, and upselling. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a strategy aligned with our product pillars: easy to use, transparent, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape the customer journey strategy: own the vision, roadmap, and KPIs, prioritising initiatives by impact and clearly communicating the why and how.
- Discovery: continuously drive discovery through customer research, data analysis, and market insights to uncover unmet needs and opportunities.
- Drive the Journey End-to-End:
- Acquisition & Conversion: optimize funnels to increase trial-to-paid conversion and reduce drop-off.
- Onboarding: design onboarding experiences that minimize friction and accelerate early value realization.
- Retention: identify opportunities to boost engagement and reduce churn, while enhancing support through AI-driven features like Genie AI Assistant.
- Upsell & Growth: build experiences that identify and surface upsell opportunities.
- Collaboration across teams: partner with engineers, designers, and researchers; ensure product signals align with upsell and revenue growth initiatives; align with Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Leadership to ensure a consistent and scalable journey.
Your Profile
- Proven experience as a Senior Product Manager, ideally in SaaS or customer-focused products.
- User-centric mindset with the ability to design intuitive experiences and gather insights through user interviews.
- Deep understanding of customer journeys and lifecycle management (onboarding, retention, upselling).
- Ability to enable cross-functional teams, provide clarity, and remove obstacles.
- Excellent analytical skills to derive insights from tools like Posthog, logs, and health reports.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to align stakeholders and teams.
- Experience with subscription models, customer success tools, and upselling strategies.
