Mercor is seeking Physics PhDs for a premier project with one of the world's top AI labs. In this role, you will contribute your subject matter expertise to a cutting-edge project involving state-of-the-art large language models. Specifically, you will help create high-quality data that will inform the future of AI innovation by coming up with difficult problems in your domain.

Base pay

$60.00/hr - $80.00/hr

Qualifications

• PhD in Physics from a top US, UK, Canadian, or European university.
• High attention to detail.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent proficiency in English.

Role details

• The role is ongoing starting in August with rolling applications.
• The project is expected to require 15-20 hours per week, with potential to extend to 40 hours per week.
• Fully remote and asynchronous, flexible to your schedule.
• Minimum project duration of 1-2 months.
• Legal status: hourly contractor for Mercor.
• Payment via Stripe Connect at the end of each week.
